I thought I'd stick a needle with a "modified calcineurin inhibitor" in it into this old thread and bring up some old memories of participating in the ARG for FlashForward.
I want to bring up Apo's find back
on Aug. 12 2009 over at the truthhack website where he found some info on the ARG:

--------------------------------------------------------------
With Marcie Turoff being a "former chess prodigy" and us knowing from the last episode of Better Angels (114) that Dyson Frost became a chess grandmaster at 15 (the same age as Bobby Fischer btw), we have evidence from the ARG that Marcie might be our mole that is supposed to be exposed in tonight's episode of Queen's Sacrifice (115).
I also wanted to go down memory lane and have a look back at the page info that Apo found regarding the truthhack encrypted page (which was the ARG puzzle itself):
Super Shark Advent Calendar Puzzle
The title for this puzzle is "Super Shark Advent Calendar Puzzle" which is freakin' weird. I know what sharks are, I know what advent calendars are, but what the heck is a Super Shark Advent Calendar?
-----------
I think I now have the answers for Apo's question.
"Super Shark" is not just the character in the Tim Tim and Squirreleo cartoon made for the series but it will be the "avatar" for Dyson Frost. While I have not yet heard the voice for Super Shark in the cartoon, if he does speak it'll be voiced (I believe) by Michael Massee. We had heard Simon using the term "sharked" (like pilfered/stolen) when he was shown his tower design as a practical construct in Somalia AND in the last episode we found out that Super Shark's name is Finnegan. Finnegan's Wake is a non-linear narrative and I believe Dyson is "unstuck in time" so he can steal ideas from Simon and Lloyd and know that Mark and Demetri were going to the doll factory.
So with Super Shark supposedly deciphered now, what could the "Advent Calendar" be? While we can draw the conclusion fairly easily that it is simply the style of the ARG puzzle, in that clues are given and opened (hopefully) for the nine boxes of the puzzle from upper left to lower right as in a calendar countdown. The thing is, the advent calendar was made for the days leading up to Christmas.
I've studied a lot of the EEs and what I see is that this will also become a part of the series endgame and it will be "orchestrated" by who seems at present to be pure evil but will be found to be acting in the best interests of mankind's survival- one Dyson Frost. The "birth" day of the advent calendar will be an allegory for the metamorphosis of the human race (with a hand-up from ETs/Angels, your pick) into an advanced form that can survive a coming world catastrophe. So "Super Shark Advent Calendar" if looked at from my solutions of the EEs so far should offer support for my take on the mythology.
As even more evidence of contextual linkage to my theory for the series endgame, I joined Twitter last night (thanks wanders01 and Sam G for the influence) and followed Quinton Peeples. On March 24 he offered up a tease in a possible anagram to be found in the stadium name of "Super Oxide." I looked at the different possible combinations and saw one that stuck out from the crowd that also supported my idea that aliens were helping us on a fast-track experiment to help us evolve quickly or go extinct in a few years. My submission to Quinton was "Id Exposure" because (you see) our alien "good Samaritan makers of omelets by breaking a few eggs" (20 million so far) are trying to advance our consciousness as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Mark is already learning to think in a non-linear way (like our new found friends I am calling "Tralfs") because he could only have rescued Lloyd and Simon (who were not going to be killed by the way because Dyson and Flosso knew of course) from making use of clues from the future. The eight ball tagging art, Lloyd's blood-marked version of the menu and the phone call where Mark puts the two clues together were all in his vision- in the future. We are as rats in a maze and are being taught be beings far in advance of us. Mark is their "star" pupil, lol.
Anyway, that is my take on how the ARG was certainly at the center of the mystery of FlashForward (and why after a few days the PMs took the "Super Shark" away from the page title and just left the more obvious "Advent Calendar." They were quite safe of course as we would have never guessed before seeing the series for awhile. That is unless we could access time in a non-linear way, hee.
Oh, here is a fun guess (and I could easily be wrong). The horses in Alda's vision should be black, as in a black "horsey" or knight chess piece.
